At WH Cox & Son Ltd we understand that it is not always possible to move into your new home the same day as your home removals. In this case WH Cox & Son Ltd offers a secure storage service for your furniture and possessions until your new home is ready.
While the containers are empty they are fork-lifted separately into the sides of our vehicles and your household furniture and effects are then loaded from your property into the containers whilst on our vehicle. They are then transported back and fork-lifted into one of our purpose built warehouses in Amersham or High Wycombe where they are specifically numbered to individual customers.
This operation avoids the task of double handling your goods. When you eventually come out of store the containers are simply fork-lifted back onto our vehicles and delivered to your new home. Our computerised software program enables us to charge you only for the days you are in storage.
Containerised storage is safe and secure. This type of storage is ideal for belongings that are to be left for a long period of time as containerised storage keeps belongings dry and clean.
Containerised storage is also ideal if you are moving overseas, using our overseas removals & international removals service as your goods can be packed and export wrapped ready for shipment while you secure your travel arrangements and prepare your inventory and customs documents necessary for whichever country you are moving to.

You may require storage for only a percentage of your household goods while you are having an extension build, renovating or removals services. Our secure containerised storage facility is perfect for short term domestic storage in this situation. As a rule we do ask for 2 weeks notice to schedule your removal from storage but can accommodate you sooner or at short notice depending on prior commitments.
