For moves within Europe, your goods will primarily travel by road. Your furniture and belongings will be expertly packed and/or wrapped before being carefully loaded onto one of our vehicles, ready for delivery to your new home. Should you be moving to a destination outside of Europe, shipment in sea containers is usually the most cost-effective option, and we can help with everything from completing a full inventory of your belongings to arranging customs and excise documentation. In both cases, we will always keep you fully up-to-date with the status of your delivery, and the estimated arrival time of your goods.

The access at the address you are moving from will be checked by your surveyor. They will discuss the access at your destination address with you.
Dispensation to park on a road with restrictions should be applied for by the customer at the local council offices. Any parking fines incurred will be charged on.
Experts are available in our offices should you have any queries regarding any of the paperwork needed for your move, whether domestic, commercial or international.
We try to reuse the boxes used during removals to get maximum use and to avoid them going to landfill. We will collect boxes locally, providing they are kept dry and are flat packed. Unfortunately, we are unable to take any paper that has been used to wrap items. If you are moving out of the local area, then we would ask that you either contact a local removal company and offer them the boxes or you recycle them yourself.
Generally, we require you to pay in full 7 days before your removal starts. You can pay via online banking, debit card or credit card.
We normally deliver once or twice a week to our customers depending on the availability of a vehicle and driver. During our busy periods this may only be once a week. We will call you a day or two beforehand to check whether it is convenient to drop them to you. Alternatively, you can collect boxes in person, please call or email for details.
During the quieter periods of the year we can take your booking as a provisional, but must stress that until you have exchanged contracts this is not a confirmed booking in our diary. We do not hold provisional dates indefinitely and you will need to check with our office regularly to ensure that the date you need is still available. Provisional bookings do not guarantee the space is reserved in our diary, and we have to take confirmed bookings on a first come, first served basis.
We are unable to quote online or over the telephone as it is very important for us to accurately measure the volume of your move and check the access, including any parking restrictions. Therefore we need to visit you, discuss your requirements in detail and answer any queries you have.
We have several packing options available to you, whether it be a full or part pack, or just your china and glass items. Our surveyor will explain these options to you when he conducts the survey at your location.
Our quotations are based on the volume of your belongings and effects, as well as the distance, special lifting equipment required and access at your current location and the one you are moving to. We then choose the most suitable vehicle from our fleet to suit your move along with the number of removers needed on the job. This is why our surveyor needs to meet with you at your location to assess all aspects of your move. They can also talk you through your options with regard to packing, and how we would carry out your move.
Normally, between 08.00 – 09.00, except on distance moves where we will need additional time to travel to you.
